Ring marks earn their keep when a brand needs a stamp. Coffee lids, wax seals, staff pins, foil embossing on a menu corner: this is where a good ring holds its shape at 12mm and still reads. I look for the kerning on the curve first, because that is where most rings collapse. Every mark here has been proofed at print size.
